The FishBone Basic proves that great fishing platforms don't need to cost a fortune. This is the board that gets you off the shore and into the action — stable enough to stand and cast, simple enough for anyone to use, and priced to make the decision easy.

Why Choose the FishBone Basic?

If you've been fishing from the bank or a kayak, you know the limitations. Shore fishing means limited access. Kayaks are cramped, hard to stand in, and unstable for casting. The FishBone Basic solves both problems: it goes anywhere (fits in your car trunk), and the 1.22m wide deck is more stable than most small boats.

The elevated seat puts you 40cm above the water — high enough for sight fishing, low enough for easy paddling. The two rod holders keep your spare rods secure while you work your primary. There's even a small tackle storage area for lures, tools, and your phone.

Perfect for Thai Waters

Thailand's inland waters are ideal for the FishBone Basic. Reservoirs like Cheow Lan, Srinakarin, and Mae Ngat offer calm conditions and hungry fish. The board's shallow draft (just 10cm) lets you access lily pads, submerged trees, and shallow flats where bass and snakehead hide — spots completely inaccessible to boats.

Coastal anglers will love it too. Calm bays, estuaries, and mangrove channels are perfect territory. The military-grade PVC shrugs off oyster shells and occasional groundings.

Simple, Not Basic

Don't let the name fool you. The FishBone Basic uses the same double-layer PVC construction and drop-stitch core as our premium models. The difference is propulsion: you paddle, rather than pedal or motor. For many anglers, that's exactly what they want — quiet, simple, and good exercise.

At 16kg, it's light enough for one person to carry. The included hand pump inflates it in about 8 minutes. Deflated, it rolls into a backpack that fits any car trunk.
